How Can I Join the Church?
You are invited to join Castleton United Methodist Church in one of three ways:
1. Confession of Faith (you are currently not a member of another church).
2. Reaffirmation of Faith (renewing initial Confession of Faith).
3. Transfer of Membership (currently a member of another Christian church).
You must be baptized to join the church. Either as an infant or later, baptism joins you to the universal community of Christian faith and is required for membership in the United Methodist Church. You can be baptized and join the church during the same service.
Membership Commitment
Joining Castleton United Methodist Church means, besides worshipping on a regular basis:
Accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
Tithing or earnestly striving toward tithing (10% of income before taxes)
Join a small group
Participate in a mission project in the course of the year
